Configuration WG - Min, Butler, Wootten, Radford, Kogan

A meeting of the configuration working group was held on 19 Jan 1999.

The next meeting will occur on 19 Jan 1999.

Min updated the "array design and development" part of the ALMA web site. The working version is currently located in his area, . A face-to-face review is being planned for 20-21 March 2000 in Tucson. This is the same day as the JRDG meeting in CV but perhaps the conflict is not severe for many except Al and Stephane.

WVR Discussions - Butler, Wootten

The receiver group plus plus had an email discussion on the WVR recently. We have managed to get copies of these, which were not addressed to us. Bryan has summarized these here . Once again we have an opportunity to define the WVR for the ALMA costing exercise. Currently the strawman design is a 183 GHz system within the main dewar feeding a 32 channel correlator. We should develop a rationale for this strawman, or change it.
