The ALMA System Design Review will be held near Munich Mon-Weds as part
of ALMA Week.  The Review Committee documentation file has 106 documents.

During the following week, the ALMA Management Advisory Committee will visit
Charlottesville.  Weds, 10 March 2004 summary presentations will be given
in the NRAO Auditorium, commencing at 3:30 pm followed by a reception at 5:30pm.
The Committee meets at the NTC Auditorium in closed sessions 11-12 May.

General Happenings



Region II    On 24 Feb 2004 the Right of Way for the road linking CH-23 to the 
              OSF was purchased at a ceremony in Antofagasta Chile.  All three 
              deeds, Concession, OSF purchase, and R.of W. are now in effect

Chajnantor   
                         
ATF          Radiometry and optical pointing continue at the Vertex antenna.
              Some metrology systems are being excercised at the AEC antenna.
              Holography has concluded at the Mitsubishi antenna.

Socorro      The ALMA Prototype correlator has arrived and passed its initial
              debugging.  Software: OT and Offline tests complete
