2255-282QSO z= 0.926 V= 16.77
Notes (from the published papers):
The radio source 2252-282 has a redshift of 0.926 and $V$=0.926. It
is optically variable. A $\gamma$-ray flare was detected from EGRET
in 1997 (\citet{Macomb99}). It has been studied at different frequencies
and scales by \citet{Tornikoski99} before and after the flare. They
present a 5\,GHz VLBA image with a jet towards the SW, but their
higher frequency observations displayed an unresolved source.
This pc-scale jet is also observed by \citet{Fey96} at 8.4 and 2.3\,GHz.
Our maps show a compact core and a component at P.A.\,$\sim$$-120^\circ$.
