The Astrophysical Data System (http://adswww.harvard.edu/) provides access to article abstracts and full text for much of the astronomical literature. This BOF will provide an opportunity for developers to learn more about the internal implementation of ADS, to request changes or new features, and to find out how they might make document collections available to ADS for indexing.
In addition, the AstroBrowse project ( http://niit1.harvard.edu/AstroBrowse/)will be discussed. The goal of AstroBrowse is to provide a tool that allows astronomers to search across multiple catalogs and data archives to find out what on-line services may have data of interest, e.g., for a particular object or in a particular part of the sky.
