This BOF will continue the discussion from ADASS V ( http://iraf.noao.edu/iraf/web/ADASS/adass_proc/adass_95/noordamj/noordamj.html ) on the Future of Astronomical Data Analysis Systems. The primary issues to be discussed ( http://www.astro.umd.edu/~teuben/fads/) are the structure of future software systems and how to, or whether to, take some action as a community in order to move toward a new approach.
