A library of digital image centering routines satisfying a wide range of accuracy and efficiency requirements is currently under development in the IRAF system. The library has been designed with a wide variety of astronomical applications in mind, such as astrometry, image distortion analysis, image registration, aperture and PSF-fitting based photometry, and object detection and location. In this paper we provide an overview of the library routines, document the currently supported algorithms, and briefly discuss their accuracy, efficiency, and appropriateness for different applications and different types of data.
