NOAO is building a large format (8K x 8K) camera using a mosaic of eight 2048 x 4096 CCDs with eight amplifier readouts initially and eventually up to sixteen. This paper presents the data format, image file organization and keywords, to be used for data acquisition, archiving, and reductions for this instrument. The data reduction methods and IRAF software is described in another paper.
