w.r.t.
I wonder what is the status of the AstroWeb database updates ?
I made a correction in the database some time ago using
http://www.stsci.edu/astroweb/astroweb-cvs.html
and it does not seem to have propagated up to the master
database. Is this tool disconnected ? I know that at some
time there was a tool under test and disconnected from the real
database. Did I miss something afterwards ?
*******************************

To the best of my knowledge,

	http://www.stsci.edu/astroweb/astroweb-cvs.html

is up and running. I use it about once or twice a week,
and the information seems to propogate.

If you give me the date you made the change, I can check
the logs to see what happened.

w.r.t.

I was making some modifications in a few entries in the database.
Changing categories (for example for my pages in AstroWeb...) was OK.
But when I change the URL for WebStars, the link disappear!
Is not the correct method use the function MODIFY for change the URL?
The correct is use the function COPY first and after use DELETE
      with the old link?
The same with the address of COSMOS mailing list...

***************************************************

When you connect to

	astroweb-cvs.html

you see a HTML form which was generated between 0 and 60 minutes ago.

If you change the URL of a resource, the central database is updated,
but the following files will not be updated until about 30 minutes
after the hour:

	newmaster.tcl
	newmaster.html
	astroweb-cvs.html

So the old URL will still be in those files until they are updated.

The COPY function is meant for creating a new resource which is
similar to an existing resource.

Use the MODIFY function to make any changes to an existing resource.

Use the DELETE function to remove a resource.

Thank your for the mail message.

The 'Harvest Query Interface' is currently broken, but the

I have put up a message now about the Harvest interface
being broken.

I submitted the data of my personal homepage to AstroWeb
3 times by mistake. Only the last item should be included.
Thanks
Kris Petrovay

To whom it may concern,
At the end of September I submitted a request form to
have the Tufts University Astronomy Program Home Page
listed under Astronomy Departments on the Astro Web.
I noticed the page has been revised several times, but the
Home Page for Astronomy at Tufts still has not been listed.
If there are any problems feel free to contact myself or
Professor Robert Willson (rwillson@pearl.tufts.edu).
Both Professor Willson and I maintain the Home Page.
Thanks for your time,
Barry Rothberg

Dear AstroWeb,

I submitted a resource about 2 months ago for inclusion in AstroWeb. It is
called Astronomy Picture of the Day and has URL
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html

For a while it sat in the submitted resource database but now it is gone
from there and I cannot find it in all of AstroWeb. Do you know what
happened to it? I think it is a valuable resource for astronomy and merits
inclusion.

- Robert Nemiroff
