Value Creators

 

  This section includes a couple of predefined functions which, in some sense create new values.

time()
    returns the system time in seconds since 00:00 Universal Coordinated Time, January 1, 1970. The value returned is of type double.

 

random()
  returns a random integer.

random(n)
  returns n random integers.

random(start,stop)
  returns a random integer which is greater than or equal to start and less than or equal to stop.
