GBSRBS was awarded a Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) grant from the Atmospheric Sciences Division of the National Science Foundation in October of 2003. In addition, The Naval Research Laboratory contributed an Erickson dipole and associated electronics/software for phase 1 of the project.
