I present ongoing work on constructing a setup for cosmological hydrodynamical simulations of galaxy clusters aimed at studying the metal-enrichment of the intra-cluster medium. In comparison to other approaches, a key difference is the modeling of transport processes from galaxies into the ICM through the use of a semi-analytical model of galaxy formation. The simulations allow us to produce mock metallicity maps, which can then be compared to observations.
