Abstract:

Using literary data the comparison of the position angles (PA) of elongated structures and of the polarization vector E of 2, 4 and 6 cm emission of compact source 3C 84 was carried out. It was shown, that in 1972-1984 vector E revealed two primary directions with PA = -10tex2html_wrap_inline2952 and PA = +17tex2html_wrap_inline2952, which correspond to the directions of two main elongated structures of the radio source, including the mildly relativistic parsecscale ejection. Parallel direction of polarization vector and curved radio jet of 3C 84 source agree with the model of distribution of magnetic fields and knots of relativistic electrons emission in mildly relativistic ejections of BL Lac objects, considered by Gabuzda et al. (1994). In the case of 3C 84 this model must be complicated because its radio jet changes the direction under the influence of external magnetic field.
