IAU Colloquium 164: Final Registration

ONote: All files below can be retrieved with anonymous ftp: ftp://ftp.cv.nrao.edu/pub/NRAO-staff/iau164/

Registration

OTo fully register for the meeting, you need to submit the final registration form 164regis.txt and the abstract form (164abstr.tex) (only if you plan to present a paper), and pay the registration fee. If you wish to apply for travel support, you also need the travel grant form (164money.txt).

ONOTE: The deadline for abstract submission (required to be included in the program) and for travel support applications is 15 November 1996. The deadline for registration is 15 January 1997, but you should register as soon as possible because we do not want more than about 200 visitors, and we intend to accept final visitor registrations on a first-come-first-served basis.

OPlease submit the registration form by email (preferred), fax, or letter. Your payment of the registration fee can be made by supplying credit card information on the form or by fax/phone, or by mailing a check (US-$ only). Please note that there is a reduced registration fee for payments received before 1 April 1997.

OIf you have previously PRE-REGISTERD, you should still submit the final registration form, even though some of the information may be duplicated.

Abstract Submission

If you wish to present a paper (oral or poster) at the meeting, we ask that you submit an abstract by November 15, 1996 (preferably by email to iau164@nrao.edu). The abstract is required before the Scientific Organizing Committee will accept your paper for the program. There may be some late (poster) papers but space will be limited and we cannot guarantee that any late paper will be accepted after the deadline.

Please use the LaTex abstract template (164abstr.tex). You will also need the style file paspconf.sty if you wish to print the typeset abstract yourself (not required). If you would prefer your paper to be a poster presentation in any case, you can specify this in the abstract template.

Travel Support

There will be very limited, and typically only partial, travel support available through grants from from the IAU and URSI, and possibly from other sources. These funds will be allocated based on review by the SOC and in accordance with the rules and procedures of the granting agencies. To be considered for support, you must submit a travel grant form (164money.txt) and an abstract form by 15 November 1996.
