A Bit About Me. I came to NRAO in May 2000 after pestering them with my resume since I graduated in December 1998 from North Dakota State University with a degree in electrical engineering. I began work here as a technician to get my foot in the door. After about a year I was re-designated as an engineer. I started worked on the 2nd Local Oscillator system for ALMA until the EVLA project gained momentum. I was then tasked with the development of 2 microwave synthesizers for the EVLA project. I designed and built 2 microwave synthesizers to be used in the EVLA. I saw several into production as well as a reference module before I changed positions to NRAO in Charlottesville, accepting a position in the ALMA front end local oscillator group. Currently, (8/06), I oversee the production and delivery of a local oscillator subsystem. Matter+chance+time=me?, I don’t think so. You don't have to give up your intelligence to believe.
