5th Annual NRAO-UVa Jansky Symposium First announcement Second announcement

This year's Jansky Research Symposium will take place on Friday, November 3, 2000, from 9:00am-5:00pm in the NRAO Edgemont Road Auditorium. The Symposium will be comprised of a series of short talks by astronomers from NRAO-Charlottesville, NRAO-Green Bank, and UVa and will be followed by a barbeque at NRAO. **Please note two updates since the mailing of the First Announcement.** (1) The Jansky Lecture will take place at 7:30pm, NOT at 8:00pm as originally announced. (2) In order to accomodate all speakers, the talks at this year's Jansky Symposium will be 12 rather than 15 minutes in total duration, including questions.
