  • If you use emacs at all: YES!

  • You want more/total control over your mail: YES!

  • You want to read mail in both text (xterm/vt100) and X11 versions: YES!

  • You know mail folders are plain text and want to do interesting things with them: YES!

  • You want multiple incoming mail spools and/or use procmail: YES!

  • Mail clients get in the way of what you need: PROBABLY

  • vi users: PROBABLY NOT
