Welcome to the FPGA Spectrometer for Pulsars Site

This website highlights the results of the Univesity of Cincinnati 2006-2007 Electrical and Computer Engineering senior design project collaboration with the National Radio Astronomy Observatory.

The project was a 9-month effort to design a FPGA spectrometer specialized for pulsar studies,
based on the work of CASPER at U.C. Berkeley

Senior Design Final ReportThe senior design Final Report is a summary of the 9 month FPGA Spectrometer for Pulsars project, and is a requirement for the Senior Design Course sequence at The University of Cincinnati. Available as well are the Fall End of Quarter Report (pdf) and the Winter End of Quarter Report (pdf).

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory is a facility of the National Science Foundation, operated under cooperative agreement by Associated Universities, Inc.
