Rob Reid: An Assistant Scientist working on CASA at NRAO in Charlottesville, Virginia.

I was formerly at the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory, working on the polarization part of the Canadian Galactic Plane Survey. For anything to do with DRAO and me, or even a link that is still broken here, please look at my pages there.

CASA

The successor to AIPS++, with a snazzy (i)python interface. NRAO is developing it to support the upcoming ALMA and EVLA telescopes.

Polarization Leakage Correction

Especially wide field correction for heterogeneous arrays: astro-ph/0801.2152, accepted by Radio Science.

Smear Fitting:

A new deconvolution method for interferometry, and my Ph.D. topic.

Simulating Observations

Particularly ALMA and SKA observations.

Radio Galaxies:

VLA Images at 5 GHz of 212 Southern Extragalactic Objects, R.I. Reid, P.P. Kronberg, and R.A. Perley, ApJS, 124, 2, Oct. 1999, p. 285-381
