0834-201(OJ -257.5)QSO z= 2.752 V= 19.40
Notes (from the published papers):
0834-201 is a flat-spectrum
blazar with $V$=19.4 and a $z$=2.752 (\citet{Hewitt89}).
Pioneering VLBI observations were carried out on
this radio source at 1.6\,GHz by \citet{Kellermann71}, reporting
a compact structure within 10\,mas.
The VLBA calibrator survey (\citet{Beasley96})
map at 2.3\,GHz shows a compact structure
extended to the West.
Our maps show a compact source with a very faint component
at 4\,mas with a P.A.\ of $-100^\circ$.
