0859+470(4C +47.29, OJ +499)QSO z= ? V= 18.70
Notes (from the published papers):
0859+470, also 4C\,47.29 or OJ\,499, has $V$=18.7
and $z$=1.462 (\citet{Hewitt89}).
This source has been observed with VLBI from the 80s
(e.g.\ \citet{Zensus84}, \citet{Lawrence85}, \citet{Pearson88}, etc.).
The Radio Optical Reference Frame maps
from \citet{Fey97} show an elongated, diffuse
structure towards the north out to 100\,mas at 2.3\,GHz.
Our map from July 1999 shows two clear components, at 2 and 4\,mas
from the core, P.A. of 10 and $-10^\circ$, respectively.
