1328+307 (3C 286, 4C +30.26, OP +348, CTA 60, DA 346, NRAO 425) QSO z= 0.849 V= 17.2 Notes (from the published papers): The bright structure seen in our image of 3C 286 is the end of a low surface brightness feature which extends nearly 100 mas to the southwest (Cotton et al. 1997). Cotton et al. suggest that 3C 286 is a normal core-jet source in which the relativistic core (base of the jet) is aimed away from us so we don't see it., but the jet curves into our line of sight.
