1502+106(OR +103, 4C +10.39)QSO z= 1.839 V= 18.56 Notes (from the published papers): NGC\,5532, 3C\,296, 4C\,10.39, OR\,103, NRAO\,0438 or 1502+106 is a 15.50\,mag FRI radio galaxy at $z$=1.839. \citet{Hardcastle97} presented 1.5 and 8.4\,GHz observations at pc-scale, which display a two-sided wide jet departing from a bright, compact, core, at a P.A. of $sim$$30^\circ$. \citet{Martel99} shows optical observations taken with the Hubble Space Telescope, with a sub-kpc, elongated and dusty structure centered on its nucleus at a P.A. of $163^\circ$. The radio jet is orthogonal to the major axis of the dusty structure. The RORF maps (\citet{Fey96}) display a diffuse pc-structure to the East at 5-10\,mas of the compact core. Approaching to the core, the 8.4\,GHz maps show a core elongated to the SE. Our maps show a kind of halo around the source, and this structure to the SE of the core not further out than 3-4\,mas. |
