1828+487(3C 380, 4C +48.46, OU +447, CTA 079, DA 452, NRAO 565)QSO z= 0.692 V= 16.81 Notes (from the published papers): 3C\,380, 4C\,48.46, OU\,447, CTA\,079, DA\,452, NRAO\,0565 or 1828+487 is an optically variable, low polarized quasar with 16.81 magnitude and $z$=0.692. It is a powerful FRII source, often classified as a CSS. This source is surrounded by a halo of 14$\times$9 arcseconds at kpc-scales (\citet{VanBreugel92}). The superluminal motions in this source are studied in detail in \citet{Polatidis98}. \citet{Taylor98} reported high rotation measures in the pc-scale structure. The source has a prominent jet towards the NW, also visible in our image, where a components can be dentified at $\sim$4 and $\sim$10\,mas of the core, P.A.\ $\sim$30$^\circ$. |
