Star Formation at Different Scales: A summary of what I have been doing in the last two years

March 9

12:10PM, Note unusual location: Auditorium

Abstract:

The subject of star formation at different scales (galactic and extra-galactic) and environments is presented. High mass star formation is studied in the context of starburst regions both galactic (W43) and extra-galactic (NGC253). Also, low star formation is also shown in the context of quiescent galactic dark clouds (The Coalsack) and Low surface brightness galaxies (NGC0521 and others).
