7.4 Section titles
Do not use math mode in \section or \subsection titles:
LATEX2HTML has to pipe math mode quantities to LATEX when converting
them into in-line images. It does not do this within section titles, so
any math mode quantities that such titles contain are ignored in
the .html output.
