I am interested in 3D animation and rendering for astronomy - inclusive of visuals for public understanding, visualization of data cubes from telescopes, and bringing the power of graphics to simulations. People are drawn to astronomy because it can be a very visually appealing area of the sciences. I like to use Blender for its capabilities of modelling, rendering graphics, video sequencing, and compositing. In addition to scientific data visualization, I worked on some graphics for the VLA short, which you can view here.
