Hardware Station

I have attached the restoration of an old photograph to show the location of Hardware, Va. The building in the background is the Hardware Store, which is still there, and the track in front of it is now Hardware Road. The railroad station has long gone. Our driveway starts about where the tree at right (3 o'clock) is, and runs right, parallel to the railroad track, and then up to the house about 1/3mi.

The provenance of the original photograph is presently unknown. This copy was bequeathed to us by the heirs of our neighbor, Greg Bull, who owned the Hardware Store for many years before he passed away. It was cleaned and restored by Dave Sagarin.
