dunlap summer undergraduate research program
In 2013 and 2014, I was part of the organizational team for the Dunlap Institute SURP program. If you are an undergraduate interested in doing research over the summer with a Dunlap astronomer, see here for updates on projects and application details for 2015!
dunlap instrumentation summer school
While at the Dunlap Institute, I was involved in organizing and facilitating the Dunlap Institute Instrumentation Summer School, including the design of a new lab to build a simple Fourier Transform Spectrometer. If you are interested in attending future summer schools, see here for more information!
I am happy to meet with groups of all ages to talk astronomy and answer questions. Some of my recent presentations have included:
Exploring our Solar System
(grade 4 group, Toronto Public Library)
New Eyes on our Origins: The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array
(David Dunlap Observatory Public night)
