The Front End Group reports on progress on the amplitude calibration
device:
The calibration scheme needs to be determined so that this aspect of
the front-end design can proceed. On 28 April 04 the CCB accepted
a change request submitted by the Science IPT to start the development
of a multi-load calibration device. As a first step a feasibility study
will be carried out. This study will address the technical feasibility
of reaching the required 1 % repeatability. This study will start in
May 04 and the availability of a final study report is scheduled
for September 04.
