3C31 = B0104+321

• FR I (plumed) radio galaxy at z=0.0169 (51/h Mpc, H = 100h km/s/Mpc)
• Filamentary plumes extend 300/h kpc from galaxy
• Conical inner jet and counterjet
• Large-scale distortion (wiggling) of both plumes
• VLA 1.4 GHz image at 5.5 arcsec resolution
