Polarization calibration

The quantities to be calibrated are the individual antenna cross-polarization terms and the position angle scale (including any time-variable ionospheric Faraday rotation). The design of this calibration depends on whether the antennas are on equatorial or altitude-azimuth mounts, and on the feed polarizations. The VLA case is described in VLA Polarization Calibration.
