A partial list of things to read before the meeting

Calibration: A key reference is the Calibration White Paper . In March 2000, the ASAC called for a calibration plan. Toward that end, two memos have recently been written:

    See Plambeck's memo and Mangum's memo .

    ALG Issues:

Refer to Plan for an Enhanced ALMA .

See also Stephane's comments on the ACA and also Morita's work , and Al's summary of June 12.

    Receivers Queries from the JRDG.

ASAC response to ALMA Receiver Subsystem Top-level Requirements and Specifications.

Correlator Primary reference is the ALMA Construction Project Book chapter on the Correlator ALMA Construction Project Book chapter on the Correlator. See Cost reduction in FX correlator for enhanced ALMA and sensitivity consideration for recent ideas on one alternative. Of interest also is the WIDAR Correlator proposed for the EVLA.

Polarization See Steve Myers' summary of possible specifications on polarization for ALMA. In March, the ASAC provided recommendations , based in part on a document by D'Addario.
