Here is a talk I gave at the Oxford Pulsar Coffee in Oct, 2026 during my sabbatical. It is about a new pulsar search code that I developed this summer working with Claude, which turned out way better than I expected. It is so good, that claude and I wrote a paper as well! The talk (which was also written with Claude!) describes both the algorithm and the process of working with, and writing with, a very good LLM.

This is a Green Bank Observatory community zoom talk that I gave on the super-cool pulsars in the globular cluster Terzan 5.

I gave a couple big public talks back in 2014, including one titled Pulsars, Magnetars, Black Holes (Oh My!): The Wickedly Cool Stellar Undead at the JMU Planetarium, Pixar Studios, and the California Academy of Sciences. There is a video of the JMU version here if you are curious:

At the CASPER Meeting in Manchester, UK in Sept. 2013, I gave this talk about Accelerating Acceleration Searches using GPUs and FPGAs (and new algorithmic improvements). It also goes into why Fourier-domain acceleration searches are better than time-domain variants.
